A piercing is a way of expressing yourself, in a similar way to dying your hair or getting a tattoo., so we have a fantastic range of body jewellery sets to suit all types of piercings. People will form opinions of you based on the number of piercings that you have and where they are placed. The most common place to get pierced is your ear with many people, as young as six months old, getting their ear lobe pierced. Although we provide a range of body jewellery sets suitable for ear piercings, we are going to look at less mainstream piercings.

Eyebrow piercings are extremely prone to infection, especially if they are accidentally knocked while healing. Once your eyebrow piercing has healed, it is important to clean your hands before changing your piercing. As this area is so prone to infection, many people do not like removing the piercing. It is for you that we have brought out the Micro Bananabell & Threaded Accessories Bonus Pack, as it allows you to change the design of jewellery without removing the bar from the piercing. There are three different designs per pack, including black dice and rasta designs.

Tongue Bar Jewellery Set

Jewelled Tongue Bar Bonus Pack

The tongue piercing is another piercing that people are reluctant to remove. We have found that many people new to tongue piercings find it difficult to replace the jewellery. To solve this problem, we have Tongue Bar Bonus Packs, therefore you only need to replace the ball on the end and not the whole piercing. Each pack comes with six different balls, so essentially you are getting six different tongue bars for under £6.00. Two of our best selling Tongue Bar Bonus Packs are the dice and jewels.

Labret Piercing Jewellery Set

Micro Labret Stud

Micro Labret Stud

Labret piercings are on the rise, since many celebrities have jumped on the bandwagon. We offer two different types of jewellery for your labret piercing. The first is the Micro Labret Stud with six balls to switch between depending on your mood or outfit. The ability to change the look of your piercing without removing the bar; significantly reduces the chance of infection. The second is the Silver and Bioflex Labret Stud, which comes with five different shimmering jewels to alternate between. The benefit of the Bioflex Stem is that you can barely feel the piercing and dentists support it as it is friendlier to your teeth. Both of these Labret piercing jewellery sets are under £7.00, excellent value for money.

Nose Stud Jewellery Set

Nose piercings are debatable the second most popular piercing, following ear piercings. Whether is this because there is a large selection of jewellery for them, including straight bars, hoops and hooks or because a pierced nose suits most people and has very little stigma attached to it. If you prefer straight bars, we have Nose Stud Bonus Packs for under £6.50. They are designed with different sized jewels in a variety of colours; check them all out on our website under Body Jewellery Bonus Packs. If a curved nose stud is more your thing, we have Curved Nose Stud Bonus Packs for them in 0.8mm and 1mm sizes with gorgeous shimmering gems.

Whether you have a standard lip piercing, a monroe piercing or a side lip piercing, I recommend trying a BioFlex labret at least once. These labret studs are made from a flexible biocompatible plastic called BioFlex and they are extremely comfortable to wear. Here at BodyJewelleryShop.com we have a huge choice of BioFlex labret jewellery, some of which you can see below. The labret stem is made from BioFlex and they come with either a BioFlex ball or a range of metal accessories. These include cute heads like stars, jewels and butterflies, so you can really customise your piercing.

Because BioFlex is bendy but durable, it is much more comfortable that a metal labret stud. A BioFlex labret also reduces the risk of damaging your teeth and gums – a major concern with lip piercings. Unlike a metal stud, they do not rub your teeth and gums. This greatly reduces the chance of gum recession and tooth damage – believe me, your dentist will thank you for switching to a BioFlex labret! There are many other advantages of a BioFlex labret, which I have listed below.

Sweeten your style with one of our cute pink labret studs. Our range of labret studs includes lots of different colours but these pink ones are definitely among our best-sellers. New materials and innovations in body jewellery invariably mean we can offer you a wider choice of items, so we are always on the look out for the latest new body jewellery. Pink labret studs look really cute but I think the trick is choosing the right pink for your skin tone. Personally I would stay away from very light pinks, especially if you have pale skin. Really light pinks can blend into fair skin tones but brighter pinks like the ones below will suit any skin tone.

Plain Pink Labret Studs

These labret studs are simple but stylish – perfect if you need a classic look you can wear every day.The enamel labret stud is comfortable to wear but it is not recommended for new piercings – wait until you are completely healed before wearing any piece of enamel jewellery. If you have a fresh piercing or sensitive skin I recommend either of the other two. They both have surgical steel stems that are really comfy to wear.

It used to be that labret studs only came in the normal metal colours – silver, black and gold. But thanks to innovations in piercing jewellery materials you can now get all sorts of colours including these gorgeous pink labret studs. Pink labret studs are made from a great choice of materials and often come with glam pink jewels or cute motifs. Here at BJS we have a fab range of pink labret studs and lots of other colours too.

Where To Wear Your Pink Labret Stud

The most obvious location to wear your pink labret stud in is a labret piercing but they can also be worn on lots of other piercing locations. You can also wear a pink labret stud in madonna piercings, medusa piercings, side lip piercings and ear piercings. I often wear labret studs in my ear lobe piercings and you could also wear them in helix and conch piercings. Personally I find labrets more comfortable than some stud earrings, due to the flat backplate.

Labret studs are designed to be worn in lip piercings but they can be worn in lots of other piercings as well. You can wear a labret stud in tragus piercings, ear lobe piercings, monroe piercings, helix piercings, auricle piercings conch piercings and many more! They are really comfortable to wear and jewelled labret studs are one of my favourite types of piercing jewellery.

Jewelled labret studs are a great way to update your look – they are cheap, comfy to wear and come in a great choice of colours and materials. I have a collection of at least 10 jewelled labret studs that I wear in my lip and ear cartilage piercings. They are especially good for ear cartilage piercings if you like to wear big headphones – the back plate doesn’t get pushed into your skin like a barbell ball can.

Steel Jewelled Labret Studs

Steel jewelled labret studs are great value. These labrets start from just £1.95, so you can always afford to update your look. Surgical steel is biocompatible and comfortable to wear. These jewelled steel labret studs are perfect when you want to show off your piercing or you’re getting bored of the same old look. My favourite is a jewelled labret studs set on the left – you get seven different colours for just £6.95 – one for every day of the week!

Lip piercings look fantastic with body jewellery such as a labret ring to show it off, there are many types of labret ring to choose from too, making it easy to personalise to your taste. The range of materials that you can get a labret ring in is vast, meaning whether you are searching for new piercings, simply aesthetics or a discreet labret ring, you shouldn’t have any trouble finding the perfect match. One of the best things about a labret ring is that you can pretty much wear them in any other piercing as well as the usual placement of the lip.

You can make a big impact wearing this bold and chunky Surgical Steel Porthole Ball Closure Ring. Featuring portholes around the ring, the surgical steel porthole ball closure ring looks particularly good in larger gauges. Made from 316L surgical steel, the portholes have been smoothly machined so as not to scratch you whilst inserting. You can buy the surgical steel porthole ball closure ring in a variety of sizes and it has no effect on the gauge, just like wearing a regular BCR.

Labret piercings are one of the most popular type of piercing and it is easy to see why – they suit everyone, look fab and give you two jewellery options: labret studs or labret rings.

Whether or not you can wear a labret ring depends on one thing – the position of your piercing. If your piercing is close to your lip you will probably be able to wear labret rings but if your piercing is too far down a labret ring would be uncomfortable. If you are not sure about whether you can wear labret rings or not I suggest asking your piercer, but as a rule if your labret piercing is near your lipline you will be able to wear labret rings. There is a huge range of labret rings available from plain steel rings to funky colours that will really stand out.

BCR Labret Rings

The most popular type of labret ring is a BCR or ball closure ring. BCRs make excellent labret rings because they close completely and come in a choice of sizes to suit your lip. The ball in your BCR labret ring should sit on the outside of your lip. If you want a more streamlined look then check out smooth segment rings like the one below. These are the same as BCRs but instead of a ball they close with a smooth section of ring. Whichever type of BCR labret ring you choose they are a real classic look.

Labret piercings

are very popular and are located just below the lip piercing. A labret piercing is most commonly in the centre of the chin area, however, can also be pierced off-centre along the lower lip line. You can even have multiple labret piercings.

Stretched Labret Piercings

A standard labret piercing is usually pierced with a needle gauge of either 1.2mm or 1.6mm (14 gauge), however, you can stretch your labret piercing to a larger gauge thickness if you wish. We have larger gauge labret studs for stretched labret piercings at a gauge of 2mm labret or 2.4mm labret in surgical steel. Accessorizing your stretched labret piercing will be limited, as larger gauges will not have a big choice of threaded accessories to choose from.

Micro Labret Piercing Studs

Micro labret piercings are pierced at a gauge of 1.2mm, the thinnest labret piercing size to choose from. Micro labret studs have a great selection of cute and micro sized labret jewellery for a more subtle look, making your jewellery small and dainty. Micro labret piercing studs include a bright and vibrant range of funky designs in the UV micro labret stud section with some very unique designs to choose from.
