We also have a great choice of other star shaped labret studs including these silver and bioflex studs. These studs are great for sensitive piercings because the bioflex is extremely biocompatible, ideal if your piercings tend to get irritated or react badly to certain metals. The star is silver and features a cute glitter infill that really sparkles.
Whether you have a standard lip piercing, a monroe piercing or a side lip piercing, I recommend trying a BioFlex labret at least once. These labret studs are made from a flexible biocompatible plastic called BioFlex and they are extremely comfortable to wear. Here at BodyJewelleryShop.com we have a huge choice of BioFlex labret jewellery, some of which you can see below. The labret stem is made from BioFlex and they come with either a BioFlex ball or a range of metal accessories. These include cute heads like stars, jewels and butterflies, so you can really customise your piercing.
Because BioFlex is bendy but durable, it is much more comfortable that a metal labret stud. A BioFlex labret also reduces the risk of damaging your teeth and gums – a major concern with lip piercings. Unlike a metal stud, they do not rub your teeth and gums. This greatly reduces the chance of gum recession and tooth damage – believe me, your dentist will thank you for switching to a BioFlex labret! There are many other advantages of a BioFlex labret, which I have listed below.
Sweeten your style with one of our cute pink labret studs. Our range of labret studs includes lots of different colours but these pink ones are definitely among our best-sellers. New materials and innovations in body jewellery invariably mean we can offer you a wider choice of items, so we are always on the look out for the latest new body jewellery. Pink labret studs look really cute but I think the trick is choosing the right pink for your skin tone. Personally I would stay away from very light pinks, especially if you have pale skin. Really light pinks can blend into fair skin tones but brighter pinks like the ones below will suit any skin tone.
Plain Pink Labret Studs
These labret studs are simple but stylish – perfect if you need a classic look you can wear every day.The enamel labret stud is comfortable to wear but it is not recommended for new piercings – wait until you are completely healed before wearing any piece of enamel jewellery. If you have a fresh piercing or sensitive skin I recommend either of the other two. They both have surgical steel stems that are really comfy to wear.
It used to be that labret studs only came in the normal metal colours – silver, black and gold. But thanks to innovations in piercing jewellery materials you can now get all sorts of colours including these gorgeous pink labret studs. Pink labret studs are made from a great choice of materials and often come with glam pink jewels or cute motifs. Here at BJS we have a fab range of pink labret studs and lots of other colours too.
Where To Wear Your Pink Labret Stud
The most obvious location to wear your pink labret stud in is a labret piercing but they can also be worn on lots of other piercing locations. You can also wear a pink labret stud in madonna piercings, medusa piercings, side lip piercings and ear piercings. I often wear labret studs in my ear lobe piercings and you could also wear them in helix and conch piercings. Personally I find labrets more comfortable than some stud earrings, due to the flat backplate.
Now you can brighten up your piercings with our new range of UV labret studs. These labret studs have UV balls and cones in a fab range of colours. They make it easy to show off your piercings or match your labret stud to the rest of your look. Our new UV labret studs have 316L surgical steel stems and bases, with highly quality UV PMMA acrylic balls and cones. They are very comfortable to wear and the PMMA feels nice and soft against your piercing.
Labret studs are designed for lip piercings but these studs are also ideal for madonna piercings, lowbrets and even ear piercings. Labret studs make comfortable alternatives to stud s and these labrets would make cute, cheap stud earrings.
Types of UV Labret Studs
Our new UV labret studs come with either 3mm threaded balls, 3mm threaded cones or 4mm threaded cones. The ball labrets are available only in 1.2mm so far but the cone labrets come in both 1.2mm and 1.6mm. They are available in the following non-UV black and the following UV colours: white, clear, red, pink, green, blue, purple, orange and red. Whichever style you choose, these UV labrets are sure to get you noticed!
It’s almost back to school time and for many BJS customers that means one thing – hiding your piercings! But never fear, here at BJS we have plenty of great piercing retainers to help you hold onto your piercings through term time. From clear piercings jewellery to safe metal-free studs, there are lots of options to suit you, your piercing and your school.
Over the next week I will be showing you which piercing retainers are the best for different types of piercings. Today I am focusing on lip piercing retainers. Lip piercings are very popular and they are banned in most schools. It’s easy to see why schools have such a problem with lip piercings – they are highly visible and literally in-your-face. Some schools have banned lip piercings all together while more moderate schools are happy as long as you use a discrete lip piercing retainer. Lip piercings are relatively difficult to hide but if you choose the right lip piercing retainer you can make your lip piercing very hard to spot.
Labret studs are designed to be worn in lip piercings but they can be worn in lots of other piercings as well. You can wear a labret stud in tragus piercings, ear lobe piercings, monroe piercings, helix piercings, auricle piercings conch piercings and many more! They are really comfortable to wear and jewelled labret studs are one of my favourite types of piercing jewellery.
Jewelled labret studs are a great way to update your look – they are cheap, comfy to wear and come in a great choice of colours and materials. I have a collection of at least 10 jewelled labret studs that I wear in my lip and ear cartilage piercings. They are especially good for ear cartilage piercings if you like to wear big headphones – the back plate doesn’t get pushed into your skin like a barbell ball can.
Steel Jewelled Labret Studs
Steel jewelled labret studs are great value. These labrets start from just £1.95, so you can always afford to update your look. Surgical steel is biocompatible and comfortable to wear. These jewelled steel labret studs are perfect when you want to show off your piercing or you’re getting bored of the same old look. My favourite is a jewelled labret studs set on the left – you get seven different colours for just £6.95 – one for every day of the week!
are very popular and are located just below the lip piercing. A labret piercing is most commonly in the centre of the chin area, however, can also be pierced off-centre along the lower lip line. You can even have multiple labret piercings.
