Create soulful eyes with brown contact lenses. Brown contact lenses are one of the easiest colours to wear because they suit any complexion. Whilst blue or light green contacts can look unnatural on certain skin tones, brown eyes look much more plausible, even if your colouring is very pale or very dark.
With brown contact lenses most people can have option of darker or lighter eyes, because they come in a wide range of tones from light hazel to dark brown. If your eyes are naturally dark brown you can lift your look with hazel lenses and if are blue or green-eyed, wearing brown contacts will dramatically change your look.
Hazel Brown Contact Lenses
Hazel brown contact lenses have a lighter, more golden brown colour. They are very flattering and suit a wide range of skin tones. If for example you have very dark eyes and want to make them lighter, hazel contact lenses are usually a better option than green or blue, which can look too unnatural. Hazel contact lenses are also a great choice for fairer complexions, where dark brown contacts might look shocking or stand out too much. When buying hazel contacts look out for names like “honeyâ€, “gold†or “amberâ€, all of which usually indicate a hazel colour contact lens.
Dark Brown Contact Lenses
Brown contact lenses come in a wide range of colours but dark brown lenses make the most dramatic change. This sort of brown contact lens will look the most natural if you already have hazel, grey or dark green eyes. These colours are already on the same spectrum as dark brown and you should be able to get a natural look with any of these dark brown contact lenses. Dark brown lenses can look great on light green or blue eyes, but the change will be much more dramatic. If you do have light eyes and want to create a convincing dark brown eye, I suggest experimenting with make up to enhance their look.
